Hidden “Rocket Launcher” found in Ice Cream Sandwich as Android Dreams Screensaver

A new screensaver feature for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich called “Dreams” were developed, but for some unknown reason Google decided not to enable it right now, instead they just hide it inside ICS.


But as we know that developers are always finding something and capable of digging inside the OS and to make people aware of the secrets.
As part of this, an alternate app launcher called Rocket Launcher has been discovered which can be open with a simple trick calling an Android Activity by its name. Watch below the video demo of Rocket Launcher in Ice Cream Sandwich and learn how to activate Rocket Launcher.

Rocket Launcher found on Nexus S running Koush’s CyanogenMod 9 alpha 11 ROM but it also available in the stock ROM on the Galaxy Nexus. The feature has been re-enabled in CM 9 ROM based on Android 4.0. Though if it’s not very useful, you will have some fun for sure!
