Convert Youtube video into an animated GIF

Sometimes you want to change your avatar Twitter for your birthday clip of past or simply a video that caught your attention, for this you need to make the appropriate format. For some strange reason my attention, but I know that many do so today I came across an online tool that allows us to convert a clip from YouTube in an animated GIF.

First be aware that there are many services and applications that allow this but Zamzar I found the easiest way to do it. The service allows you to select the video URL, or if you have on your computer, upload to the web.

Once you have uploaded the file selected or move to the next step in choosing the output format, finally we only aggregate our email if you want to be notified when the result is ready. Conversion usually takes no more than a few minutes and give us or send the link to download the converted video in the format specified.

[Officially Confirmed] Telus is Launching The Samsung Galaxy S II X

And now, the Samsung Galaxy S II X ( SGH-T989 aka Hercules ) has officially been confirmed in the Canadian operator Telus.

Reminder: this version features a large touch screen of 4.5 inch AMOLED technology Super Plus with a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels (WVGA). The resolution is somewhat low compared to other high-end smartphones provided in the mobile market.

I still do not know the brand of the embedded architecture, though I know she has two hearts and will be clocked at 1.5 GHz. As for cameras, there is a 2-megapixel front and back of 8 megapixel camera with flash and the ability to record video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The network part, the Galaxy II S X supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, and 4G (up 42M/bits in reception).

At present, no information on rates with or without subscription has been confirmed. We only know that the mobile will arrive in the coming weeks at Telus, and also in the U.S. operator T-Mobile

New Nokia N9 Smartphone.

At the Nokia Connection event in Singapore, Nokia introduced the Nokia N9, the first-ever pure touch smartphone that is all about making things simpler.
Nokia N9 focuses on the most important things that people do: use apps, get notifications and switch between different activities. Navigating the UI is done with a simple gesture, a swipe of a finger.
Let's have an overview.

SWIPE :
All that’s needed to use the Nokia N9 is a simple gesture, a swipe of the finger. It is an intuitive way to use all the different features and functions. Whenever you are in an application, you just swipe from the edge of the screen to go back home.

DESIGN :
The Nokia N9 has a beautiful one-piece, unique design where the hardware and software fit together seamlessly.
The large, 3.9 inch curved glass AMOLED display lets the applications shine and take full benefit of the user interface.
It looks like applications are literally floating on top of the screen.
The body of the Nokia N9 is made from the best in polycarbonate material engineering today, enabling superior antenna performance over most other competitors’ smartphones.
This means better reception, better voice quality and fewer dropped calls.
The Nokia N9 comes in three colours: black, cyan and magenta and with large storage capacities of 16GB and 64GB on the two variants to be made available.

NO BUTTONS :
The Nokia N9 is the world’s first pure touch screen phone without any front-facing buttons at all. You unlock the phone by just double-tapping the screen.

3 HOME VIEWS :
The user interface in Nokia N9 is designed around the things people typically use the most. This is why there are three recognizable home views arranged in a carousel:
1) Applications for launching and organizing your apps.
2) Events for social networking feeds and notifications for calls, texts, calendar events, etc.
3) Open applications for switching between all live apps you have used recently.

SUPER POWERFUL CAMERA :
The 8MP auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and super wide 28mm lens works faster from start to capture than any other manufacturer’s smartphone camera in the market. HD video and true 16:9 resolution photos are supported. You can share your photos via MMS, email, NFC and many online services including Flickr and Facebook.

LATEST MAPS :
The Nokia N9 has the latest Nokia Maps with free, voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation for walking and driving. There is also a dedicated Drive app for in-car navigation, which lets you start navigating to your destination instantly after entering your destination. Public transport routing in 85 cities means you can find the quickest route on foot or by tram, metro or train. You can also discover nearby places with cafés, shops, hotels and more, all marked along the way.

DOLBY SOUND :
Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus support on the Nokia N9 turns regular stereo audio into personal surround sound on any headphones – first on any mobile phone.

Chaton, Interesting Samsung Messaging Application

Samsung this week unveiled a new messaging app known as ChatOn.

Samsung said the service is a "true global mobile communication service" that intends to make messaging a richer experience.

In addition to one-on-one chat, users can invite several friends for a group chat, and send photos and videos via the app. You can also send event and calendar info, like invites for a concert or business meeting. The "trunk" feature is a log of all sent images and videos, and friends can leave comments on these files. If you want to jazz up an image, an animation feature lets you draw on or add text, backgrounds, or music to a photo before sending.
It not only looked great but has hit the nail including all these features in their day, when compared with WhatsApp IMessage and GroupM , we consider that became an instant messaging app on a win app. Because one of the keys to success WhatsApp it's completely cross platform, Android will be Chaton, IOS, BlackBerry OS and of course, although it is almost ironic, also in Bada. To complete the coup also recently commented WhatsApp the urgent need to have a desktop version, Chaton include it as a webapp so that we can access it via browser.

Symbian Vs Android : Which to Choose ?

Smartphone industry is one of the fastest growing industries these days. With the Introduction of  tablets, Google Android is gaining lot of popularity whereas the most used Symbian OS is getting behind in the race. If you are going to purchase Smartphone, you might be in dilemma, Symbian or Android.

We are in the favor of “Android”.
It is better than Symbian, because of following reasons-

*  Brand is what a phone or anything can make it worth of its prize as we know Google is a bigger brand than Nokia .

*  The development of Android is much more as compare to symbian,  the number of application’s on Android market exceeds 100,000 mark whereas they say quantity does not matter we consider quality first.

*  The notification feature of android is one of the good feature as on the top of the screen there stuck  time, battery level, wi-fi etc so whether you receive a latest notification it will not interrupt your current actions. But in case of Symbian if you receive any new messages, email it will pop up and you have to take action of them first and then do your previous actions.

*  One of the coolest feature of the smartphones is their ability to work with 3rd party applications, whether it is web browser, messaging applications. With symbian what ever is the default setting we have to use them for example :- suppose you installed opera for browsing but the default browser is not opera so whtever you open in the opera  it will automatically move to default browser, but in case of Android you can change the default setting as you want.

*  Android also have built in browser which is noticeably faster than that on the Symbian, it is easy to use and more smoother and accurate when clicking links. In that you can also bookmark the website you want and then click on the link.

*   Another interesting feature is that when you buy an Android powered handset, then initial setup process ask you about google account if you log in with that than automatically all google mail, google talk, google calendar will also be copied into that device so no need to install them separately . In Case of symbian you have to install all these application’s separetly.

*  Another great feature of android is onscreen Keyboard which provide easily access to touch. If You are in the browser than you can easily access to these buttons like ‘@’, .com, ‘/’ etc. IN symbian there are no shortcut keys for doing this and you have to do extra efforts for these characters.

At the last I can say Android provide wide variety of applications as compare to symbian.

Do tell your views about it........
What you like Symbian or Android?
